One of the wedding venues at the Kefalos Beach Hotel is fashioned on the famous film Mamma Mia. The Kefalos Beach Tourist Village has been designed as a traditional Cypriot village complete with it's own Chapel. The St. Savvas chappel.
We can offer you the chance to exchange nuptials at our St Savvas’ chapel, in the style of the hit movie Mamma Mia. St Savvas’ Chapel might not be on a hill like the film but it is certainly a Traditional Greek Orthodox Church which is located in our village square.
You can have your own Mamma Mia themed wedding at the Kefalos and like Sophie you can make your way to the chapel either by a traditional Cyprus donkey or horse and cart with the sounds of your favourable Abba hits as you are walking to the aisle. Following the same decorations as the Mamma Mia film, you can use the traditional Cypriot chairs decorated with natural simple Cypriot flowers.
Capture the magic of the Mediterranean ... just like the hit film; enjoy an idyllic ceremony in our traditional chapel while the beach front is only couple of meters away with stunning views over the glistening Mediterranean Sea. Afterwards, an outdoor reception at our al fresco Romios deck or Theater area awaits where a stunning selection of Cyprus and international cuisine can be enjoyed. The whole set up of the tables and chairs will be along the same lines of Mamma Mia’s film.
